Overview

Whitewater rafting the Colorado River's Shoshone stretch is perfect for visitors to the Vail area. This trip will take you through the gorgeous Glenwood Canyon, where rock walls tower above the river. This trip offers class III rapids and considered a moderate trip for ages 8+. Not a fan of rapids, or does someone in your group not meet the minimum age requirements? These guests can skip the class III rapid but still join the in on the scenic float section of the trip and remain with their group through to the takeout.

The activity is suitable for beginners to intermediate depending on the location.

The Private Whitewater Rafting Glenwood Canyon Adventure is a private fully custumizible trip. You select the Hotel pick up time.
The Group Whitewater Rafting Glenwood Canyon Adventure Hotel pick up time is 9:00 am.
Gear up at the boat house in Eagle, aproximately 45 minutes from Four Seasons. Enjoy a scenic drive to the Glenwood Canyon put in approximately 25 minutes from the boat house.
This experience is subject to availability and weather conditions.
This experience is in Wolcott, approxmately 40 minutes from our Resort.
This experience is 2.5 to 3 hours for the activity and approximately 6 hours total, including travel time.
Water shoes are provided.
Guide gratuity not included and can be added.

Group Whitewater Rafting Glenwood Canyon Adventure: Ages 6 to 7 skip the class III rapid then join the float. Must be at least 8 years old and 50 lbs to do the class III rapid. Child price (6 years old) USD 130 per child. Transportation cost USD 20 per person.
