As of September 13, 2021, the City & County of Honolulu has implemented a new program, Safe Access Oahu, which requires all guests dining at restaurants and bars, or visiting a spa or fitness facility, to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test result taken within the previous 48 hours in order to enter the establishment. Children under 12 years old are exempt. Proof of full vaccination includes a hard copy of a state-approved vaccination card; a photograph/digital copy of a state-approved vaccination card; or the Hawaii Safe Travels approved digital/smart device application. Guests may also show proof of a negative COVID-19 test result that is a U.S. FDA emergency use authorization, or an approved molecular test, or antigen test taken within 48 hours of entry to the restaurant, bar, spa or fitness center. The Resort will not retain or share information concerning guests’ or patrons’ vaccine status or test results unless required by law.
The state of Hawaii has instated additional safeguards for residents and guests, including requiring travellers present proof of full vaccination (15th day after the completion of their vaccination) or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of arrival into Hawaii in order to avoid quarantine. To assist with accessible pre-travel tests, Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina has identified the following lab with testing options that are convenient and rapid, nationwide. We have endeavored to keep current with applicable State of Hawaii policy, but each guest is responsible for complying with the requirements imposed for quarantine-free travel to Hawaii. Our employees are required to wear masks. In accordance with the advice of medical experts and industry best practices, all guests (ages 5 and above) will be required to wear a mask or face covering when in public indoor spaces on property and when receiving service while in their guest room. In addition, local Hawaii regulations mandate guests wear masks when dining at outdoor restaurants or bars when they are being seated, when going to the rest room, or if moving around the space. Guests are also required to wear masks in public outdoor spaces and when walking along Resort pathways. Our hotels adhere to the more stringent requirement between Four Seasons Corporate Policy and local regulations.
