Kids For All Seasons
||10:00 am – 6:00 pm|
The Kuda Velaa (“little turtle”) Club keeps our youngest guests entertained during their stay, with exciting games, cultural craft-making, educational activities and beach fun. The club is open to children from the ages of 4 to 12, who are all supervised by our our Kids’ Coordinator. Children aged three or under are welcome when accompanied by an adult guardian.
Passport to Adventure
This new program introduces children aged 4 to 12 to the island’s extraordinary natural wonders through a series of exciting challenges, puzzles and activities. In addition to inspiring a passion for adventure and discovery, the program incorporates many of the Resort’s environmental initiatives. Children can build their own coral reef, feed the baby clownfish in the Fish Lab and visit the on-site Marine Discovery Centre, home to the atoll’s only turtle rehabilitation centre.
The program includes up to eight daily activities alongside a “passport” of puzzles, facts and challenges – from coral reefscaping to wishing tree walks, dosha discovery to lizard spotting. In addition to enjoying each activity, kids who complete the related challenge earn a stamp. Seven or more stamps earn a toy, and the collection of all 14 stamps leads to ice cream sundaes at Blu Restaurant & Sunset Bar.
Children are free to join in as and when they like, from an hour at a time to all day every day. And with stamps available at designated points all over the Resort, they can even collect them when out and about with mum and dad.
Mission: Landaa Giraavaru
Designed for older children (ages 8 to 12), Mission: Landaa Giraavaru is a complimentary new and exclusive kids program that encourages budding explorers to venture out into the wider wilderness of Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru and immerse themselves in the island’s wonders and workings.
The carry-case style booklet contains 14 mission levels to challenge everything from kids’ creativity and accuracy to their skills in report-taking, behind-the-scenes investigation, and even bed-making.
Children can earn points through activities extending from transplanting coral reefs to interviewing their favourite member of staff, monitoring injured turtles in the Rehabilitation Centre to helping out in their favourite department. Educational and enlightening, further topics range from general Maldives knowledge to energy conservation and from origami to endangered creatures.
Our program at the Kuda Velaa Club aims to keep kids active outdoors, allowing them to experience the Maldivian spirit. Kids can take part in the following activities:
