Who says the Maldives is only for honeymooners? Our magical village setting, easy-breezy island vibe, cool educational encounters and well thought out facilities has ‘family’ written all over it – guaranteed to have both the young and young-at-heart entertained all holiday long.
Come to the Marine Discovery Centre to see our hand-reared hatchlings and find out more about our turtle conservation project – one of the most successful in the Indian Ocean. Swop the classroom for the ocean, with Tropicsurf lessons in our private lagoon for dudes and dudettes aged 6 and above – with advanced ride clinics and ‘surfaris’ for the more skilled surfers in the family. Dive down beneath the waves with PADI ‘Bubblemaker’ courses and Seal Team AquaMissions, and the opportunity for the grown–ups to advance all the way to Master Scuba Diver.
Our action–packed Kids’ Club programme keeps 4–12 year olds enthralled for hours with everything from crafts to cookery, spa sessions to scavenger hunts, while our Kuda (‘Little’) Spa menu engages children as young as 6 with private island–inspired spa treatments and all–natural products. And mealtimes are equally chilled with our ‘Little Tummies’ policy: free meals for under–5s, subsidised tailored menus for 4–12s, picky palate catering and early sittings for hungry tummies. But that’s just the tip of the family iceberg. With shark snorkel safaris, dolphin cruises, sunset fishing, Robinson Crusoe escapes, snorkelling and water sports including X-Jetpacks, parasailing, Seabobs, wakeboarding and banana boating, the only thing you’ll have to worry about is finding the time to fit it all in.
