But for Marco Bicego, precious stones in radiant shades aren\u2019t a passing trend; they\u2019re a lifelong love affair. And with his newest additions to the iconic Jaipur Color collection<\/a>\u2014first launched in 2008\u2014the Italian jewelry designer reveals the latest chapter of his love for gemstones by capturing the impact of a single hue.<\/p>\r\n

The new monochromatic pieces are expressions of color, playing with the subtle variations in a single shade by pairing strings of garnet, citrine, peridot, blue topaz, turquoise and amethyst with radiant 18K yellow gold settings, hand-engraved using ancient Florentine techniques.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

When he\u2019s not overseeing production at his factory in Trissino, Italy, Bicego is searching the globe for unique gemstones and diamonds.<\/p>\r\n

And because nature never repeats itself, Bicego\u2019s rigorous and highly selective process ensures that every piece showcases the unexpectedness and uniqueness of each stone.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The newest Jaipur Color collection pieces made their debut on Italian-French actress and screenwriter Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, who wore two sky-blue topaz necklaces to the 83rd<\/sup> annual Venice Film Festival<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
