When the team at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea<\/a> decided to commission some fresh photography at the Resort, they made an unconventional \u2013 and undeniably compelling \u2013 choice. Rather than turn to a photographer specializing in travel or hospitality shoots, they sought the partnership of renowned editorial fashion photographer Pamela Hanson.<\/p>\n

Hanson\u2019s career took off in the early 1990s, hand in hand with the rise of supermodels. Since then, she\u2019s continued to shoot for the likes of Vogue<\/em> and Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/em>, and individual character \u2013 even for her non-human subjects \u2013 still sparks her imagination.\u00a0\u201cI was instantly inspired by the unique personality of the Resort,\u201d Hanson says, \u201cand the many possibilities for showcasing its beauty.\u201d<\/p>\n
