pioneer in the city\u2019s farm-to-table movement. Lee was trained as a painter, but his passion for authentic Korean food has made him a self-taught master of traditional cooking and fermentation. Although he\u2019s more likely to shy away from a spotlight than to seek one out, he has gained renown among those in the know. \u201cI\u2019ve personally been to his home for dinner, and it\u2019s a very sought-after experience,\u201d Redzepi says.<\/p>\n<p>The next day, guests will visit Mount Bukhan and Jin-Kwan temple for a private demonstration of the centuries-old practice of creating temple food \u2013 meals designed to enhance meditation. A trip to the pioneering \u201cNew Korean\u201d restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jungsik.kr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jungsik<\/a>, noted as the first restaurant to apply molecular gastronomy to Korean ingredients, rounds out your time in Seoul.<\/p>\n<p>Between outings, guests will find that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fourseasons.com\/seoul\/\">Four Seasons Hotel Seoul<\/a> mirrors the city\u2019s intoxicating mix of venerable history and modern sensibility.
