Industry Collaboration

We are helping drive collective action within the hospitality sector through participation in industry associations, including the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance (SHA) and the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) Sustainability Committee. 

The SHA, of which we have been members since 2012, brings together leading hospitality companies to deliver impact locally and globally. Through the SHA, our teams have supported the development of industry materials, including the Hotel Carbon Measurement Initiative, Hotel Water Measurement Initiative, Hotel Waste Measurement Methodology, Pathway for Net Positive and Hotel Net Zero Methodology. We are also proud to endorse the SHA’s Principles on Forced Labour, which we have incorporated into our Company’s Human Rights Policy. 

The AHLA is the largest hotel association in the U.S., representing every segment of the hotel industry. We are helping to build a more responsible sector in the United States through our participation in the association’s Sustainability Committee. 

We are also proud members of the Corporate Eco Forum (CEF), an invitation-only membership group for large companies that demonstrate a serious commitment to sustainability as a business strategy issue.
