- Snorkelling in Hulopoe Bay
Just steps from the Resort, the protected marine preserve of Hulopoe Bay offers excellent conditions for swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding, kayaking and more. Clear, gentle waters draw schools of spinner dolphins, green sea turtles and a variety of colourful reef fish. We’ll outfit your group with complimentary snorkel gear.
- Off the Beaten Path
Climb aboard the LĀNA‘I II, a 65-foot sloop rigged sailing catamaran, for a sunset sail. Your guests can sip a cocktail as the sun falls below the horizon, enjoy delicious pupus (appetizers), and perhaps even watch schools of spinner dolphins frolic in the surf.

Plan for a trip upland to the inland forests where your group can take aim at the Lanai Archery and Shooting Range. Offering a series of customized lessons for beginners or excursions for more experienced shooters, the 14-station course features state-of-the-art, sporting-clay targets. Archers can also hone their skills or practise the sport for the first time with help from an expert guide.
- Stables at Koele
Your group can uncover the contrasting landscapes of Lanai with a horseback ride into the hills surrounding Koele, once the centre of ranching operations. Or, they can opt to explore wooded valleys and trails, home to axis deer, mouflon sheep and wild turkey. Custom tours and private lessons are available to meet your group’s various interests and skill levels. Whatever you choose, be sure to end the day with a paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) barbecue.
- Whale and Dolphin Watching
Lanai is home to one of Hawaii’s largest schools of spinner dolphins, and from December to April, it is also the calving and breeding grounds for hundreds of migrating humpback whales. Whale and dolphin boat excursions are available throughout the week.
