The vision of Master Chef Rei Masuda, our one-Michelin-starred restaurant offers an intimate and interactive experience as you watch as our master chefs create stunning dishes made with top-quality ingredients flown in each day from Tokyo’s iconic Tsukiji market – either at the 200-year-old, 10-seat Hinoki counter, or in one of our two private-dining rooms.

Skilled Artisans Present Choice Kyoto Sake
Welcome sake brewers and cellar masters from different Kyoto breweries every month in our historic pond garden, Shakusui-tei. Savour the range of flavours created by specific strains of rice and brewing methods and share anecdotes with artisans responsible for producing coveted Kyoto brands.

Champagne Garden by Perriet-Jouët
Join us at Brasserie's for free-flow of Perriet-Jouët Grand Brut. Two of Perriet-Jouët's core philosophies are respect for nature and bringing beauty and wonder to everyday life. Taste of both through their refined Champagne as you soak up the lush summer greenery of the Shakusui-en pond garden. Subject to 15% service charge and 8% consumption tax.

THE CULINARY MASTERS SUMMER SERIES: A TASTE OF KYOTO AND BEYOND
Hot off the heels of restyling the iconic Caprice Bar, the law student-turned-bartender from Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong (home to eight Michelin stars under one roof) will be taking over the bar counter at The Lounge & Bar at our Hotel for three nights only, showcasing his infectious vitality and engaging connection to his patrons and his craft through a delicious menu of his original Kyoto-inspired cocktails. From JPY 2,500 per cocktail.

A scenic walk across a glass bridge leads you to our intimate tea house, Shakusui-tei, nestled in our historic ikeniwa, where a tea master waits to introduce you to the solemn art of a traditional tea ceremony. Please make your reservation at least one week in advance.

In addition to the masterfully trained chefs at Sushi Wakon, the entire restaurant is a testament to Japanese craft and design. Evidence ranges from the rotating selection of regional artwork in the dining rooms, to the handmade metal tiles that celebrate Origami and Kumiko, to our centrepiece: an 8-metre long sushi counter made from a single piece of Japanese cypress, handcrafted by one of Japan’s greatest craftsmen 200 years ago.
