What does the high tea set for two at The Lounge include?

Priced at MYR 500 per set and serving two guests, our high tea includes tea or coffee, a chilled summer gazpacho, five savoury delicacies, six sweet creations, and traditional and cranberry scones served with clotted cream, lemon curd and strawberry jam. The menu draws on Malaysian ingredients and flavours, from Sabahan lobster and beef rendang to durian, local chocolate and kelulut honey.

Which teas are served during high tea at The Lounge?

The Lounge serves tea chosen from our sustainably certified selection. Black teas range from our Tropical Signature Blend to English Breakfast, Earl Grey and an organic Darjeeling second flush, with Jasmine Silver Needle and Jasmine Pearls among the whites and greens. For something caffeine-free, choose from chamomile, lemongrass and ginger, or blackcurrant and hibiscus.

Can the high tea menu accommodate dietary requirements or food allergies?

We are always glad to accommodate. Please share any allergies or dietary preferences with our team upon reservations and our chefs will adapt the courses wherever they can. Each tier is prepared in our kitchens that same afternoon, an advance notice gives the savoury and pastry teams time to prepare something equally considered.

What is the dress code for high tea at The Lounge?

The dress code for high tea at The Lounge is smart casual. Shorts, singlets and sports attire are not encouraged, and closed-toe shoes rather than flip-flops or sandals are preferred for men. Just off the lobby, The Lounge is relaxed yet polished, with live piano playing during the afternoon. If you are arriving from The Spa or the pool, allow a little time to change beforehand.
