Western Flair and Flavours
Outdoor pursuits and fresh air inspire a hearty appetite. Curiously, so does whiling away the afternoon in a comfortable easy chair. Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole is pleased to cater to outdoor enthusiasts and loungers alike – the Resort boasts an impressive variety of food and drink establishments featuring fresh, flavourful fare with inventive twists.
Westbank Grill, open for breakfast and dinner, offers a modern mountain steakhouse experience complete with an oversized stone fireplace, an open kitchen and remarkable views of Teton Village and Rendezvous Peak. Choose from an extensive wine list, a selection of local cheeses and house-made charcuterie, seafood, regional meats including bison and elk expertly prepared on the 1800°F (982°C) infrared grill, and savoury breakfast dishes.
“Classic with a twist” pub grub is on the menu at The Handle Bar, operated in partnership with celebrity chef Michael Mina. Specializing in wood-grilled sausages and burgers, the inviting pub also offers crowd favourites such as elk chilli, grilled wild-caught salmon and truffle mac and cheese. The expertly curated bar list features beer, whisky and handcrafted cocktails.
Beloved by locals and visitors alike, the welcoming Ascent Lounge is a true ski-in, ski-out bar and restaurant. Relax by the wood-burning fireplace or eye up breathtaking mountain views from the heated patio with outdoor fire tables. Choose from an enticing East-meets-West menu that highlights fresh sashimi, sushi and specialty rolls (the sushi made with local Waygu beef is a must-try) as well as fresh flatbreads, udon noodles and bar bites. “Our concept is simple: we like to use many of the finest local ingredients and let the flavours speak for themselves,” says Executive Chef Michael Goralski.
