Horseback Riding – VIP Private Ride

Overview

Enjoy an exclusive horseback adventure designed for couples and families, departing from Willow Creek Ranch. Climb 1,000 feet to Ann's Pond, where moose are often spotted, and take in sweeping 360 degree views of the Grand Tetons. Descend to Willow Creek with several creek crossings, arriving for lunch at the historic Rim Rock Ranch site, where wildlife sightings are common.

Things To Know

: Bringing bear spray on the trail rides are prohibited
No riding double. Riding double can be quite dangerous for both riders and horses.
No prior horseback riding experience is required. This experience is suitable for beginners as well as intermediate riders. Guests should feel comfortable being around animals and able to mount and dismount with minimal assistance.
Riders must be in good general health, have a reasonable level of balance and coordination, and be able to follow guide instructions. More advanced rides may require prior riding experience.
Maximum weight for a single rider is 265 pounds.
: Groups larger than 12 can be accommodated with advance notice.

Guide gratuity is not included in the price and is recommended at 20%.
Transportation is not included. The location is a 40-minute drive from our Resort, at 9500 S. Bryans Flat Rd. Jackson, WY 83001.
: Water and snacks
Closed-toe shoes are a must. Riding boots with a slick bottom and a small heel is best but tennis shoes are fine too. Hiking boots are okay, but not recommended due to the heavy tread.
Long pants are suggested to protect your legs from bushes. If wearing a hat, please be sure it is tight fitting.
Sunscreen and chapstick with SPF
