Things To Know

: You can be a beginner, intermediate or advanced experience level.
Children must be ages 6 to 15.
You must be able to sit upright and maintain balance while the horse is walking, trotting or moving over uneven terrain.
You must be able to mount and dismount a horse without assistance as well as follow instructions on how to steer your horse and maintain balance in the saddle.
There are no strict height minimums, but riders should be tall enough to comfortably reach the stirrups and balance in the saddle.
: Tours are not cancelled due to forecasted conditions and continue rain or shine unless deemed unsafe by the vendor.
Guide gratuity is not included and recommended at 20%.
Located in Dubois, Wyoming, Approximately 2 hours each way by car.
No meals are included.
Transportation is available for an additional fee or separate transportation can be arrange through our Concierge team.
Morning ride is at 9:30 am with a 7:00 am pick-up or meet at 3 Spear Ranch by 9:30 am (7:00 am pickup from Teton Village).
Afternoon ride is at 2:00 pm with an 11:30 am pick-up or meet at 3 Spear Ranch by 2:00 pm (11:30 am pickup from Teton Village).

Closed-toe shoes with a heel (about 1 in or 2.5 cm). The best option are cowboy boots or riding boots and a good alternative is hiking boots with a defined heel
Long pants (jeans or riding pants). These protect your legs from saddle rubbing and trail brush. Avoid shorts or skirts
Comfortable layers depending on the season, such as a t-shirt and long-sleeve layer or light jacket (spring/fall), or insulated jacket, gloves and thermal layers (cold weather)
