Born and raised in the Piedmont region of Italy, throughout his career Chef Maurizio has sought inspiration in the cuisine of his homeland, focusing on fresh local ingredients to showcase the best of Italian home cooking.
“I find inspiration in my roots, constantly recreating and putting a personal twist on the dishes I grew up with back in Italy.”
Overseeing the international wine list at Quattro, it was a passion for wine and a keen eye for matching aromas and flavours that led Andrea to leave his job in real estate to pursue a career as a sommelier.
“I see wine as something that not only enhances the taste of food but also gives the meal a story.”
