From nightlife in Beirut to the ancient wonders of Baalbek, Lebanon has long been desired around the world as a holiday destination. However, Lebanon is also known as an international skiing hub. With well-established ski resorts, the area provides a unique mix of Mediterranean style, hospitality and pristine slopes just hours from the sea.

Lebanon's six resorts are all just a few hours drive from Beirut. Let our Concierge plan the perfect excursion for your group at one of the top six ski resorts, from a luxurious après ski dinner to a full day guide on the slopes.

Mzaar Ski Resort

Mzaar is Lebanon's most famous resort, located just one hour from Beirut by the villages of Faraya and Kfardebian. Mzaar offers over 80 kilometres of groomed ski runs and high elevation of up to 2465 metres. While Mzaar is home to the country's most challenging slopes, there's plenty of snow for beginners and intermediate skiers. Finish your day on the slopes with some of the area’s fantastic street food at Emm Bashir or Abou Artine.

Faqra Club

Faqra Club was one of the first private ski clubs in Lebanon after its opening in 1974. With a variety of slopes, the resort caters to all levels and visitors can enjoy the various services offered by the resort such as a heated pool and tennis courts. After a long day on the mountain, explore the nearby ancient ruins and natural stone bridges.

The Cedars

Cedars Ski Resort is the perfect spot for the nature lover on vacation. Ideal for beginners, the gentle slopes are accessed by wire-lifts. If you’re looking for more advanced skiing, take advantage of some of Lebanon's best cross-country skiing. Cedars wouldn’t be complete without its unmatched après-ski offerings. Nearby you’ll find the Becharre village on the edge of the Qadisha Valley. Visit the Gibran Museum, birthplace of influential Lebanese author Khalil Gibran. Experience the natural beauty of the Becharre-Qadisha gorge, filled with rivers, springs, waterfalls and caves. Historic sites in the area include rock-cut churches, monasteries and small villages.
