Melinda Redling, Director of Catering
My hospitality career began 14 years ago as a Director of Catering. I joined Four Seasons in Miami eight years ago prior to joining the Baltimore team. I don’t have a favorite type of wedding: I love multicultural weddings, grand affairs, intimate gatherings, casual receptions…each wedding is extraordinary in its own way, and I enjoy them all.
A lifelong love for weddings:
When I first began my career, my mother and I owned a bridal shop. I also worked as a wedding dress buyer. I’m lucky that my career is also my passion.
A standout memory from one of the weddings I’ve planned:
It was an English Garden themed wedding, and no stone was left unturned – from the elaborate décor to the custom menu and specialty cocktails. The bride walked down an aisle shrouded by a canopy of trees and glowing crystal chandeliers. It was stunning!
