YEW restaurant + bar
YEW restaurant + bar is a tribute to nature's most beautiful elements – glass, lustrous wood and natural rock abound, and the menu created by Executive Chef Rafael Gonzalez uses ingredients from the entire Pacific region.
Designed to capture the essence of British Columbia's natural environment, lofty 12-metre (40-foot) ceilings reach to the sky, while wood-panelled walls and a floor-to-ceiling sandstone fireplace emanate warmth and comfort. The communal table for 14 is a slab of hand-hewn western maple, and a skylit private dining room is enclosed in glass. Other features include two open kitchens and private dining for eight. Seats 204, 128 in the dining room and 76 at the bar.
Specialties
Specialties include a contemporary raw bar, a panini bar and over 150 wines by the glass. YEW restaurant + bar also offers La Boqueria – a Latin-inspired Sunday brunch.
