Japanese Suite

The unique Japanese Suite observes the design traditions of Japan, including two tatami rooms. It overlooks peaceful Japanese gardens from the 11th floor.

• A raised platform entrance hallway leads to the sitting and dining area which is eight tatami mats wide and includes a table for four.
• The living area has a bar, "shoji" (paper) screen, private reading area and a "tokonoma" (alcove for diplaying japanese art).
• The bedroom features a private reading area and separate dressing area; the single-size futon is kept in a cedar closet until turndown.
• In-room technology includes three two-line telephones and an independent data line, voice mail in English and Japanese, 42-inch (107-centimetre) television, DVD player (Region 2 only), compact hi-fi component system (CD, MD and tuner), VCP and fax machine (on request).
• The bedroom features a 32-inch (81-centimetre) television. A sliding door separates the bedroom from the bathroom.
• The marble bathroom features both Western fixtures and a Japanese wooded "O-furo"; an enclosed unit for lather and rinsing with a separate cedar tub for soaking. The bathroom also features a separate glass-enclosed shower, deep-soaking tub, large vanities, separate WC, mini television and electronic toilet/bidet.
