Saint Louis Zoo
Admission to the The Saint Louis Zoo is complimentary for all guests, making it the perfect destination for families big and small. Enjoy seeing 19,800 wild animals, representing more than 600 species, many of them rare and endangered. Visit the Red Rocks area to see lions, make your way through the new Seal Lion Sound to the River’s Edge, or see the Primate House, Reptile House and much more! *Behind-the-scenes tours can be arranged to get a peek at what its like to be a zookeeper and see these animals up close and personal. Take a ride on The Zooline Railroad for a tour of the zoo.

Children’s Garden at Missouri Botanical Garden
Founded in 1859, the Missouri Botanical Garden is the nation's oldest botanical garden in continuous operation and a National Historic Landmark. Children’s Garden is within the Missouri Botanical Garden, where children can climb a tree, explore caves, board a steamboat or visit a Midwestern prairie village. The Missouri Botanical Garden also has wonderful areas that are not specific to children, including the Climatron, a geodesic dome designed to simulate a rainforest environment to keep tropical plants flourishing during the winter months. The Climatron houses more than 2,800 plants, including 1,400 tropical species.
St. Louis Science Center
The St. Louis Science Center in Forest Park offers a hands-on learning experience through more than 700 exhibits, most of which are free. On the bottom level of the main building, you'll find life-sized, animated models of a T-Rex and Triceratops, a fossil lab and exhibits on ecology and the environment. There's also CenterStage, where visitors can watch free demonstrations and experiments about science. The Science Center features an OMNIMAX theatre, a planetarium, a bridge over the highway, and a Discovery Room (geared toward young scientists aged three to seven years). Gateway Arch Riverboats
Cruise the mighty Mississippi and hop aboard the narrated Tom Sawyer or Becky Thatcher riverboat replicas of 19th century steamboats. The riverboat ride offers one-hour sightseeing cruises, skyline dinners, brunch cruises, fireworks cruises, and live entertainment. Boarding begins 30 minutes prior to departure.
Grant’s Farm is an exploration farm filled with family activities. This 281-acre estate was once the property of President Ulysses S. Grant, and it is now cared for by the Busch Family. Enjoy viewing more than 900 animals representing more than 100 different species in an up-close environment. Pictures can also be taken with the famous Budweiser Clydesdales.
We love a good amusement park and Six Flags has rides that the whole family will enjoy! There is endless entertainment with unique roller-coasters, dining options and fun rides for the little ones like the Pirate Ship Slides, Hook's Lagoon and Elmer Fudd Weather Balloons. Stroller rentals and other family amenities are available through the park.
Saint Louis Union Station
On September 1, 1894, St. Louis Union Station opened as the largest, most beautiful train terminal in the United States and in 1976 this remarkable station was deemed a National Historic Landmark. Enjoy viewing the amazing structure, beautiful architecture and a newly renovated Grand Hall, complete with entertainment venues. Union Station contains several restaurants and children will enjoy paddle boating. Every hour the Grand Hall features a show projected on the roof (produced by Universal), which is sure to delight children and adults alike.
The Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House
Visit this educational and cultural attraction where visitors will see more than 1,000 butterflies in free flight! This is a great attraction for all ages.
The Magic House/St. Louis Children’s Museum
The Magic House is a hands-on children’s museum that provides a creative learning experience. Touch an electrically charged ball that will make your hair stand on end, transform your silhouette into a kaleidoscope of color, lift yourself with a pulley, freeze your shadow on a wall, or experiment in a water playground. Exhibits include the Children’s Village, Math Path, Bubble Room and more.
