RECEIVING AND MAINTENANCE

The Hotel features a full-service shipping and receiving office. All packages should be sent to the attention of your sales/catering contact, and should include your name along with the conference name and date. Deliveries will be stored in a separate conference storage area. Limited space is available for the storage of large items. Please time shipping to the date of your arrival.

 

Post-conference shipping

After your meeting or conference, please coordinate with your sales/catering contact for return shipping of post-conference materials.

Receiving dock

The receiving department or your sales/catering contact will also be happy to assist with special arrangements regarding the delivery of oversized packages or environmentally sensitive equipment.

 

Maintenance

The engineering department is available 24 hours a day for general assistance with lighting, room temperature control and minor repairs.

Guided by culinary experts, small teams are formed with the chance to earn points as they rotate through various stations that test their knowledge of ingredients and food history. End the Foodie Challenge with the Tools of the Trade Station and identify the name and use of obscure kitchen utensils. The winning team is declared the official “foodies.” Participants receive a customized apron and one-on-one time with Executive Chef Marco Fossati.

Learn how to decorate and pipe a cake with Executive Pastry Chef Eric Keppler. Groups will learn how to do the basic types of piping and will be able to decorate a “mini cake” to be judged by the Chef himself. Eric believes dessert should always be delicious first –– the rest is, as they say, icing on the cake!
