Art galleries Experience the richness of local folklore through the art of Michael Adams. Some of his work is also displayed in the Resort's reception area and throughout the villas and suites.
Attractions This French-colonial-style Roman Catholic church was built in 1874 and is located in the town of Victoria. It is the centre of religious life for much of the population of Seychelles and features a small garden with a graceful statue of the Virgin Mary.
Take a tour of these magnificent gardens, and learn about spice cultivation in Seychelles and the flora and fauna indigenous to the islands.
Established in 1901, the Botanical Gardens feature a collection of palms native to Seychelles, including the coco de mer, as well as a tortoise park and a rainforest walk.
Local excursions Explore the underwater granite structure beneath Seychelles. Takamaka Rocks is the one of closest diving points to the Resort.
Museums Located in Victoria, this museum provides a glimpse of the history of Seychelles.
Scenic day trips A 15-minute flight to the island of Praslin will bring you to the Vallée de Mai, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. This virgin palm forest is 650 million years old, and offers a chance to see the majestic coco de mar.
Shopping Antik Kolony in Victoria offers a colourful selection of hand-painted scarves, pareo, bags and gifts.
Located in the town of Victoria, Kenwyn House and Francis Rachel Street are the perfect places to find paintings and works of art, jewellery from South Africa and high-end resort fashions and gifts.
Enjoy a visit to the vibrant and bustling Victoria Market, where you will see everything from local crafts made from coconut to silk paintings and handmade jewellery. Fishermen bring their catch to the fish market, and stalls sell fragrant spices, citronella tea and local delicacies.
