Total Recall, Total Service
More Four Seasons Stories
Like our sister properties all over the world, Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North enjoys a reputation for an ever-attentive staff that will happily and eagerly see to your every need. While any of our staff will fulfil any request, it is highly recommended you don’t challenge them to the card game of Memory, for you will lose. Every time. Each member of our staff seems to have an elephantine memory, going so far as to recall guest details from years ago, as returning families will attest.
The Parker family visits the Resort each year, and every time, they request that housekeeper Ikonija Filipovic – and only Ikonija – do all of their housekeeping services. Without prompting, Ikonija remembers that the Parkers prefer extra towels for their frequently hand-washing children, paper liners for the closet shelves and the removal of clutter such as stationary, notepads and pens. She sees to all with a smile.
Another returning family, the Linkowskis, also requests Ikonija by name. Among the many details she remembers is that they love to play cards on the patio. So Ikonija sets the table up nicely for them in anticipation of their visit. Smartly, the Linkowskis have yet to ask Ikonija to sit down to a game of Memory.
Our guests have also showered praise on Juan Ortega, our Guest Services Doorman, via comment cards. Like Ikonija, his prowess of recall is unmatchable. Many returning guests are pleasantly surprised, and quite pleased, when, even a year later, Juan greets them by name in a natural and discreet manner. Guests are instantly drawn to his gentle demeanour, smiling eyes and eagerness to provide an impeccable level of service. One family, who recently moved near the Resort after visiting year after year, drops by a few times a week just so their children can see “Uncle Juan”.
Four Seasons Residence Club owners happily point out the keen recall of Residence Club Ocotillo Grill Cook Eduardo Echeverria, whose culinary skills and exemplary memory are presented with aplomb. Eduardo has the uncanny knack of remembering special food orders for Residence Club owners who return each year; he remembers that a certain guest loves guacamole, but not cilantro, and will have a special batch waiting. His supernatural ability even extends to guests with allergies. Eduardo remembered that one French Fry-loving kid was gluten intolerant. Each day, Eduardo would empty the oil basket, fill it with fresh oil, and prepare special fries for his guest.
Whether this is your first visit — or your umpteenth visit — please let us know how our staff is making your stay in Scottsdale all the more memorable.
