Overview
Talavera’s menu focuses on locally and regionally sourced cuisine, emphasising prime cuts of meat, poultry and game from boutique purveyors, as well as a wide variety of seafood. To highlight the restaurant's authenticity and sense of place, Executive Chef Mel Mecinas seeks out fresh heirloom tomatoes and vegetables from local farms, olive oil sourced from a nearby mill and Arizona ranch-raised meats.

Whether you dine alfresco or indoors, take in dramatic vistas of the desert valley at Talavera, a modern take on the classic steakhouse. A vibrant Southwestern décor is woven throughout the interior. Further evoking memories of Scottsdale’s frontier days is a trough that rests inside the glass-encased alcove jutting into the restaurant. Parallel with the nearby mountains, the trough is filled not with water, but a roaring fire. At times, the flames mirror the mountain range, peak for peak.
