Traditional Balinese
Traditional Balinese massage, a skill passed down through generations, features long strokes, gentle skin rolling, deep kneads and foot reflexology. Our Balinese therapists share this restorative tradition using our own herbal coconut oil blended with warm spices and basil, vetiver and patchouli essential oils.
Synchronised
Two therapists – meaning four hands – work in seamless coordination, stroking the body with a blend of Eastern and Western massage techniques to effectively relieve tension. In this relaxed state, you’ll feel as though it’s one magical therapist, blessed with an extra set of nurturing hands.
The deep knead
Vigorous pressure, deep stretching with therapeutic concentration on tension points and Balinese foot reflexology attend to stressed muscles and relieve even deeply rooted aches. Long, deliberate strokes improve overall blood circulation, leading to all-over relaxation.
Gentle aromatic
This massage employs light rhythmic strokes, complemented by your choice of our exclusive essential oil blends – Peace of Bali with sandalwood, ylang-ylang and spice oils, or Bali Sunset with lavender, lemongrass and nutmeg.
Warm herbal oil
This gentle massage lavishes warm Ayurvedic oil all over the body. Those who prefer a light touch will appreciate this massage, while those who favour a strong approach will be pleasantly surprised.
Urban antidote
This targeted treatment combines Indian head, neck and shoulder massage with reflexology for hands and feet to erase the stresses of our technology-addicted, fast-paced lives. Deep kneading is applied where it hurts to unblock muscle knots and improve blood flow, returning the body to a healthier equilibrium.
Champi
Indian head, neck and shoulder massage, or champi, has been practised for thousands of years. Hands move knowingly from your neck to the shoulders and down the arm, employing aromatic calming or invigorating oil, to your head – even your earlobes are treated with the therapist’s intuitive touch.
Hot river stone
Smoothed by centuries of rushing waters of the Ayung River, these steam-heated river stones of varying sizes are carefully applied to the energy centres of the body then gently glided along tired muscles in long, rhythmic strokes with the use of aromatic oils. As the warmth penetrates deeply, soothing the tense mind; the alternate application of cold stones simultaneously stimulates and energises, further enhancing the sense of relaxation and calmness as it re-balances the body and mind.
