Body treatments

Sole to soul

Virtually an entire day of healthful pampering begins with a steam shower that opens your pores. Then, thermal-infused volcanic stones are placed directly on chakra points along your body’s central meridian to restore energy flow. As your body rebalances internally, your skin is exfoliated with sea salt, sandalwood, ylang-ylang, black pepper and ginger. A full-body wrap, featuring warmed almond and grape seed oil, is followed by a cleansing wash, known locally as a gayung shower.

The treatment continues with an essential aromatic oil massage using your choice of basil, bergamot, cedar wood, clary sage, geranium, lavender, patchouli or ylang-ylang oil. Linger in a bath of frangipani before enjoying a spa lunch served with loloh, a Balinese elixir.

Feet are treated with a lavender eucalyptus soak and exfoliation, followed by a massage to stimulate healthy blood circulation and a eucalyptus green tea foot mask to hydrate. A revitalising facial mask completes this unique head-to-toe healing package.

A ginger almond body splash cleanses the body prior to a massage using a blend of Asian oils of basil, ylang-ylang or thyme geranium. Then, soak in a ylang-ylang petal bath while sipping a cup of herbal petal tea. Rejuvenated, recline again for a refreshing facial and a final application of mountain flower lotion.

Begin with a gentle, aromatic exfoliation to remove dead skin cells. Skin-nurturing yogurt soothes freshly buffed skin before a hydrating soak in our oversized bath, sprinkled with flowers from the spa garden. Linger with a therapeutic cup of loloh, a Balinese herbal elixir, and then recline again for a traditional Balinese massage of long strokes enhanced with fragrant mountain flower body lotion.

A unique gotu kola skin-firming and moisturising body mask leads to a relaxing frangipani and pandanus bath, then gotu kola and kukui nut body lotion concludes this rejuvenation on a cool and calming note.
