Day 1


Arrival at Resort
After arrival, refresh and unwind.

  • Relax by the tile pool or on picturesque Butterfly Beach.
  • Enjoy a rejuvenating massage in the ocean-view Spa or work out in the Fitness Center.
  • Go cycling along a 6-mile (10-kilometre) beachfront path or play a leisurely game of tennis.
  • Practise your skills on our putting green or croquet court.

Evening
Welcome reception – Experience a taste of Santa Barbara’s fresh flavours and local colour in the beautiful gardens overlooking the mountains. Taste some of the region’s finest wines, and enjoy local artisans, musicians and street vendors.


Day 2

Enjoy a private buffet breakfast with your group, indoors or in the gardens, before you start the day's activities. Have the Spa customise a morning walk, hike or Tai Chi class to start the day off right.

  • Rejuvenate with a customised spa treatment using native plants and products from the ocean.
  • Play championship golf at Sandpiper Golf Club’s dramatic waterside course.
  • Explore Santa Barbara's unique Spanish heritage on a tour of the city. See the Mission, Courthouse and Presidio, and shop on State Street.

Evening
Choose from:

  • Reception and dinner at the Santa Barbara Courthouse and sunken gardens. The Courthouse is one of the United States' most beautiful public buildings.
  • Dinner at one of the many wineries in the area. Customise the event with your own private blend and label.
  • Select one of the many lovely estates in the area for an elegant evening.


Day 3

Enjoy a private buffet breakfast with your group, indoors or in the gardens, before you start the day's activities.

  • Take a private tour of some of over 60 wineries in Santa Barbara's wine country, and enjoy barrel tasting.
  • Take a Jeep tour up into the Santa Barbara foothills and go for a hike, or join a mountain biking excursion.
  • Explore our many shops and galleries for antiques, jewellery, art, clothing and other handmade objects by local craftspeople.

Evening
Choose from:

  • An authentic Spanish fiesta with mariachis, folkloric dancers and flower carts.
  • Celebrate California’s unique history with dinner in the private courtyard of the Santa Barbara Historical Museum or at the nearby adobe house.
  • Casual beach party buffet dinner with surf-and-sand décor, beach band and fresh California fare.


Day 4

Enjoy a private buffet breakfast with your group, indoors or in the gardens, before you start the day's activities.

  • Go surfing, kayaking, windsurfing, whale watching or hiking.
  • Test your team-building skills with golf-cart polo, a sailing regatta or a ropes course.
  • Enjoy a botanical and estate tour of one of Montecito's historical 1920s homes.

Evening
Choose from:

  • Restaurant dine-around on State Street or nearby Montecito Village.
  • Western-style barbecue dinner and horse-training demonstration at Flag Is Up Farms. Monte Roberts, the internationally known horse whisperer, makes this a very special experience.
  • Dinner at sea on a luxury yacht, the Channel Cat. A great way to see this beautiful coastline.


Day 5


Day
Enjoy a private buffet breakfast with your group, indoors or in the gardens, before you start the day's activities.

  • Kayak into the sea caves on Santa Cruz Island and see whales along the way.
  • Learn a new skill and be adventurous – take a surfing clinic, go mountain climbing or attend a wine-blending class or interactive chef demonstration.
  • Go on a behind-the-scenes tour of Santa Barbara’s artist studios or the popular orchid and rose farm.

Evening
Choose from:

  • Santa Barbara Museum of Art offers a lovely backdrop of fine art for an elegant evening.
  • Enjoy a Santa Barbara wine-pairing dinner.
  • Create a themed gala event, possibly an “Academy Awards” complete with celebrity impersonators, photographers and red carpet.

Day 6


Departure
Enjoy a private buffet breakfast with your group, indoors or in the gardens, before leaving for convenient Santa Barbara airport, only 11 miles (18 kilometres) from the Resort.
