Botanical walking tours
Horticultural treasures and exotic plants have been brought to the Resort's gardens from around the world, and our meticulous gardeners keep them flourishing year-round. View North America's largest collection of rare kentia palms, or snap a photograph under the famous Moreton Bay fig tree, which dates back to the 1800s and has branches that span hundreds of feet.

Complimentary bicycles
The Resort offers complimentary beach cruisers (complete with helmets, locks, water and maps) for adults and children. Guests can embark on a scenic ride along the 3-mile (5-kilometre) coastal bike path that runs from the Resort to the harbour and downtown’s State Street.

Summertime stargazing
During the summer, the Resort hosts monthly stargazing evenings on the Monte Vista Lawn, where expert astronomers lead engaging skywatching sessions, pointing out the wonders of the night sky and helping to unlock some of the universe's mysteries. Unlimited appetisers, beer and wine accompany observations of the moon, constellations and planets through telescopes.
