Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco is a smoke-free hotel. In compliance with the California Indoor Clean Air Act, the Hotel and its guest rooms are totally non-smoking. Guests who smoke in their guest rooms will be assessed a cleaning and displacement fee and then asked to stop smoking. Guests who continue to smoke will be asked to leave the Hotel.

Early Arrivals and Late Departures
If you expect to arrive early in the day and would like immediate access to your room, we recommend booking the room for the prior night to guarantee immediate access. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access to your guest room until you depart. If you choose not to reserve, we will be glad to store your bags and make our fitness facilities available for you to freshen up.
Guaranteed Reservations and Deposits
At Four Seasons, a guaranteed reservation assures you of a room even if you check in late (after
All guest room reservations must be guaranteed by a valid credit card at
time of booking. Guest room cancellations and changes must be received by
6:00 pm local Hotel time, the day before scheduled arrival for Superior,
Deluxe, Deluxe-View and Premier categories. Cancellations and changes must
be received 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival for Four
Seasons Executive Suites, Superior Four Seasons Executive Suites and One-Bedroom Suites. If cancellations and changes are received after this
time, one night's room rate plus tax will be charged to the guest's
credit card. All reservations for Deluxe, Premier and Specialty Suites
must be guaranteed by a deposit in the amount of one night's room rate
plus tax. Cancellations and changes must be received seven days prior
to the scheduled arrival for Deluxe Suites, Premier Suites and Specialty
Suites otherwise the deposit of one night's room rate and tax will be
forfeited. The same policy applies to no-shows. Early departures will
result in a penalty of one night's room rate and tax charge.
