Climate
Set high in the Rockies, Jackson Hole enjoys a dry climate highlighted by long, warm summer days and some of the best winter conditions to be found in North America. Spring is cool, offering showers and brilliant sunny days. Summer temperatures can be quite warm during the day, but evenings are often chilly. Fall weather is cooler, but remains warm enough for many summertime activities – from fishing to hiking. In the winter, December and January are the coldest months with an average annual snowfall of 150 inches (381 centimetres). But with the dry air, it often feels warmer than the temperature indicates.
