The Huichol: Witnesses of time
One-hour lecture
The Huichols are a native people indigenous to the western Sierra Madre mountains, and are one of the last tribes in North America to continue living as they did in pre-Columbian times. You will learn about their beliefs, traditions and unique handicrafts, which reflect a spiritual symbolism dating back at least 1,000 years.

A one-hour lecture and tasting
An icon of Mexican culture, tequila has an intriguing history, dating back to the Aztecs. This distilled spirit can only be produced from the Agave tequilana (blue agave plant). During tasting, you will be told the difference between the various kinds of tequila and given tips on ways to appreciate this fiery drink.
