Overview

Deep sea fishing, scuba diving and seasonal whale-watching are among the many pleasures of Mexico's west coast. At Punta Mita, you will find the best diving and snorkelling along the Banderas Bay coastline, and winds and ocean currents at the northern tip of Bahía de Banderas produce a challenging environment for sailing.

The beach services centre provides water-sports equipment for various activities, including coral-reef snorkelling.

Other outdoor activities include ruin hikes and historical tours, as well as walks along the beach.
