The warm interior design draws widely from local influences, resulting in an ambience that is at once traditional and modern. Local stonework walls are an elegant backdrop to sculpture and artwork, while wood floors and sycamore tables provide a contemporary twist on the natural elements of Provence. Striped chairs in white and brown tones heighten the organic colour scheme. With a flair for showcasing contemporary Mediterranean cuisine with Provençal influences, Faventia earned its first star from the prestigious Michelin Guide less than a year after opening in March 2004. Executive Chef Philippe Jourdin has a rare talent for mixing tradition with innovation. He has incorporated his expertise and use of the finest local products to produce outstanding menus. The result is a cuisine that is simple yet full of flavour, focused on satisfying the most demanding epicure. Faventia features an intriguing wine list that focuses on fine local Provençal vintages and acclaimed international labels. A children's menu is also available. Guests may dine indoors, or al fresco on a shaded terrace. Seats 136, with 60 indoors and 76 outdoors.
