The Hotel is in the heart of the famous Golden Triangle of Paris, the city's most upscale shopping district. It includes Avenue George V (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Givenchy), Rue François 1er (Rochas, Courrèges, Balmain) and Avenue Montaigne (Dior, Céline, Chanel, Donna Karan, Loewe, Thierry Mugler). Nearby is Rue Marbeuf, which offers designer shops as well as great men's formal and leisure wear. Within a 15-minute drive are the famous department stores Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, Madelios and Le Bon Marché.

June offers the Festival de musique sacrée de Saint Denis, as well as the Chopin Festival. The Fête de la Musique, features hundreds of concerts all over the city.
Enjoy the Saint Jean fireworks on the river banks.

July-August

The Festival Estival de Paris features concerts in public gardens and mansions in Le Marais and the Left Bank.
Bastille Day ceremonies include a parade, balls and fireworks.

The Versailles Fountains are open daily.

September

Opera Season runs from September to June.

September offers the Journées du Patrimoine, when all monuments, religious and political buildings, private châteaux, unique places and all other buildings that present a historical interest are open free of charge for one full day in all of France.

Enjoy the Fêtes de la Seine during the first weekend of September. It features a River Festival, concerts and fireworks.

October

Prêt-à-Porter time.

Witness the world's greatest horse race – The Grand Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, October 6 to 7.

December – January

Enjoy the following Christmas illuminations: Champs-Elysées, Rue Royale, Opera, Grands Boulevards, Marais and Saint Germain.
