Clinton Street Baking Co. is well known for their breakfasts, especially their delicious pancakes. Try my personal favourite, almond pancakes with fresh blueberries. For breakfast and brunch lovers, this is a stop not to be missed.

Well known for its vintage stores and hole-in-the wall thrift shops, Stanton and Clinton is the place to be if you’re looking for designer quality on a budget. Shoe lovers should be sure to check out Ellen (at Ludlow St.) for some great finds.

5. KATZ’S DELICATESSEN | 205 East Houston St
Katz’s is one of the best delis in the city and has been around since 1888! It’s a great place to take the kids for lunch, as they have a wide selection of sandwiches and kids’ favourites.

This National Historic Landmark is a synagogue, a museum and most of all, a portal into the lives of Jewish immigrants 125 years ago. Go “Beyond the Façade” and take an architectural tour of the building.
