Acupressure with Back Walking

New York is famously a walking city, with fabled attractions and new surprises at every corner. Such sight- and sound-filled walks are often exciting, and rarely tranquil. Still, there is perhaps no simpler way to relax than with a stroll through Central Park, just a block or two away from Four Seasons Hotel New York.

As it turns out, letting someone else do the walking is quite relaxing, too.

Acupressure with Back Walking—an ancient Chinese, gravity-assisted modality with a modern Western twist—relieves muscle tension and promotes circulation. Ceiling handgrips allow your therapist to vary a dance of toe jabbing, heel digging and ball swivelling to help bring balance to your body. Sessions also include centuries-old Tui-Na techniques that blend Taoist and martial art principles.
