Chelsea
This is My New York
"I love going to Chelsea on my day off – there is so much to do from shopping, dancing, to having a casual coffee date with friends. Chelsea is also home to some of the city’s most incredible art galleries and is both fun for adults and kids!"

One of my favorite art galleries in the city is Pace Gallery, a leading contemporary art gallery with collections by some of the most renowned artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

4. LEHMAN MAUPIN | 540 West 26th St.
A few steps away, I’ll take in some more contemporary culture at Lehman Maupin, another unique art space that encapsulates the feel of modern New York.
-
5. LA PROMENADE DES ANGLAIS | 461 West 23rd St.
At lunchtime, I’ll head to La Promenade des Anglais for some French cuisine. Try their delicious croque monsieur!

8. 300 NEW YORK BOWLING AT CHELSEA PIERS | Pier 60 at 23rd St.
When I’m celebrating with my friends and family, you’ll likely find me knocking down pins at 300 New York Bowling. This unique bowling space also has full-service in-house catering, great event planners and a selection of bar packages that’s perfect for groups.
-
9. THE PARK | 118 10th Ave.
For dinner, I’ll head to the lovely Garden Room at The Park. Start with the Aperol Spritz cocktail, fresh oysters and the beet tartare. Seal the night with their succulent steak frites.

10. 1 OAK | 453 West 17th St.
Walk into this Mecca of cool and dance the night away. 1 Oak’s DJ’s and mixologists are among the best in town. Between the golden highlights that grace the room and the many celebrities that frequent it, you can’t help feeling like one of them. Watch out for paparazzi!
