- The Bronx Zoo features Madagascar! and the Butterfly Garden.
- Visit Discovery Times Square (226 West 44th Street) to experience two fascinating exhibits: Spy: The Secret World of Espionage and Terracotta Warriors: Defenders of China's First Emperor.
- At the New York Botanical Garden, Monet’s Garden runs through October 21, 2012.
- The American Museum of Natural History features Creatures of Light: Nature’s Bioluminescence and the IMAX film Born to be Wild.
- Vital Theatre Company presents ongoing productions of Angelina Ballerina and Freckleface Strawberry.
- The Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre, located in Central Park at Central Park West and 79th Street, presents Little Miss Muffet’s Monster-Sitting Service through August 26, 2012.
- Cirque de Soleil: Zarkana at Radio City Music Hall runs until September 2, 2012. The show follows the adventures of a magician who has lost his love.
- This summer, the Delacorte Theatre celebrates 50 years as the permanent home of New York's Shakespeare in the Park. See As You Like It from June 5 until 30, 2012, and Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's celebrated musical Into the Woods from July 23 until August 25, 2012.
- The Metropolitan Museum of Art's popular rooftop garden features Tomas Saraceno on the Roof: Cloud City through November 4, 2012.
- Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park, a small, traditional family amusement park, is open until September 9, 2012.
- During Potted Potter, experience a parody of all seven Harry Potter books in 70 minutes. The New York limited engagement runs until August 12, 2012, at the Little Shubert Theater.
- The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum celebrates the arrival of the Space Shuttle Enterprise.
