Desert Delight
Vibrant Mexican culture meets sophisticated dining with the opening of Talavera at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. Named after the local brightly coloured, hand-painted pottery native to Arizona, the Restaurant is decorated with a bold palette of vibrant purple, pink and orange evoking the Sonoran Desert in full bloom.

Dining at Talavera is an interactive culinary experience with tableside presentations woven into every meal, allowing guests to learn a few tricks of the trade. The menu showcases the freshest seasonal ingredients, emphasizing prime cuts of meat, poultry and game from boutique purveyors as well as a wide variety of seafood. Weekly seminars highlight spirit pairings, such as fine Russian vodka, hand-selected Mexican tequila and collections of American caviar.

And for those special occasions, gather a small group of friends and family to eat and learn in the private wine cellar that features a communal, raised table, reminiscent of the ever popular Spanish tapas bar. Visit the Resort web site
Pacific Dining
Cosmopolitan chic meets British Columbia’s natural beauty at YEW restaurant + bar at Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver. Named for the region’s rare, indigenous tree, YEW brings a new level of sophistication to the city’s restaurant scene. Lofty 20-foot ceilings that reach to the sky, wood-panelled walls and a floor-to-ceiling sandstone fireplace are just some of the elements that capture the essence of British Columbia's natural environment.

A contemporary "raw bar" made of stacked alder wood with granite surfaces, a communal table for 20 composed of a slab of hand hewn western maple, and a sky-lit private dining room enclosed in glass completes the contemporary, clean atmosphere.

The menu, while representing a broad culinary range, focuses on stimulating the palate with a gourmet selection of oysters, lobster, black cod and a variety of seafood choices for a taste of the best from the Pacific Region. Visit the Hotel web site
