An Electric, Eclectic Nightlife
More Four Seasons Stories
Colourful and eclectic, Miami nightlife has something for everyone. From Latin-influenced dance clubs to to sultry jazz to the hippest, of-the-moment restaurants and bars, you’ll be amazed at what this city has to offer.
For authentic Latin beats, taking the trip to Little Havana is your best bet. Bars play both Afro-Cuban and rumba rap as well as funk beats. You can also check out the Viernes Culturals (Cultural Friday). Held the last Friday of every month, this cultural street fest in Little Havana showcases the best in local Cuban music and dance, crafts and poetry.
Next, try South Beach for the hottest, hippest and most exclusive (read: VIP lists and velvet-roped lounges) clubs. Mansion, a classic art-deco theatre, has been revamped to include dancing and hip beats on various floors. Another hot club in South Beach is the chic Nikki Beach, located right at the end of Ocean Drive, with gorgeous ocean views.
Of course, Miami has incredible restaurants and bars too. On the western side of Miami Beach, Yardbird Southern Table & Bar features warm down-home Southern hospitality and inventive from-scratch dishes made the freshest local ingredients. Pubbelly is an innovative gastropub that marries homemade patés, rillettes and braised dishes with the most enticing Asian street food. Or check out a new addition to the family, Pubbelly Sushi, located next door. On the menu: a softshell crab BLT (yes, that’s bacon sushi), goat butter toast, and a selection of Japanese beer.
Downtown, look to Mare Nostrum. Outfitted in gleaming tones of blue and white, this chic eatery and bar located into a new skyscraper offers a homemade, homecut pasta counter, a vast raw bar that includes whole fresh fish flown in daily from Spain, and a jaw-dropping wine cube which cradles 2,000 Spanish and Italian wines.
No matter how you spend your night, your memories of Miami will be magical, and leave you dreaming of more.
