Wailea water ritual

A wonderful way to begin your spa experience in our private treatment suite. Upon entering our secluded steam shower, you will find exfoliating mitts and a luxurious macadamia nut bath gel to use while bathing under a rain shower. Then, slip into a deluxe whirlpool tub while bath salts infused with aromatherapy oils melt away tension and prepare you for your day at the spa.

Wai aulia (graceful flowing water)

Sink down into the warm cocoon bed, totally supported and floating weightlessly, while rich moisturising creams nourish your skin. Deeply relaxed and coaxed into suspending conscious thought, you are gently rocked, massaged and stretched by our experienced therapist. Cool scented towels are on hand to make this an exceptional experience.

Wai huaka'i (water journey) for men and women

Enjoy this unique experience as a couple or on your own. This journey begins with a relaxing soak with mineral-rich sea salts and botanical extracts in our whirlpool tub. Next, sink down into a warm cocoon bed for the ultimate body wrap. Supported and floating weightlessly, your body will be enveloped in a blend of ayurvedic oils containing over 75 therapeutic plant extracts. The goddess massage oil for women helps with hormone balance, metabolic and enzymatic functions, elimination of toxins, cell nourishment and rejuvenation. The power massage oil for men promotes prostate health, muscle tone, deep relaxation, renewed vitality and longevity. A skilled therapist will perform neck, scalp and facial massage during the wrap, as well as foot reflexology to help balance the endocrine system. Your relaxation continues in the Serenity Room, where you will be served a men's or women's tonic. Your journey concludes with a 50-minute massage.

Exfoliation treatments

Enjoy a full-body exfoliation with your choice of luxurious products, varying in abrasiveness, followed by a warm, soothing rain rinse in our overhead Vichy shower. To complete the treatment, a rich, hydrating aromatic lotion is applied. These treatments may be enjoyed in a 50-minute session; alternatively, the massage portion of the treatment may be extended so that you luxuriate in an 80-minute session. Choice of:

• Bamboo lemongrass – finely ground bamboo vigorously exfoliates the outer layer of the skin while citrus and sugar cane penetrate, for deeper exfoliation and detoxification. A heavenly application of lemongrass lotion completes this treatment.
• Macadamia nut – our most delicious body exfoliation combines mineralised cane sugar, coconut oil and crushed macadamia nuts for a stimulating exfoliation; an application of rich macadamia nut lotion follows, leaving the skin smooth and lustrous.
• Pineapple papaya – our most popular polish, this mildly abrasive exfoliation is enhanced with fruit acids. The scrub finishes with an application of lushly scented Epicuren pineapple papaya after-bath moisturiser.

Ola kino (well-being) – the ultimate foot treatment

After a soothing soak in a Hawaiian sea salt bath infused with ginger and turmeric, your feet are gently buffed and exfoliated with a volcanic foot scrub comprised of passion fruit oil and orchid extract. Afterwards, a 25-minute reflexology session using a lemongrass emulsion harmonises the body. Add 30 minutes to your session and enjoy a flower-enriched foot mask with Hawaiian sugar cane, jasmine and gardenia essence.

Purifying sculpt

This detoxifying body treatment combines dry-brushing wet-steam with a full-body mask of capsin, niacin and cinnamon to stimulate the lymphatic system, encouraging it to cleanse itself. Gentle rocking within a warm cocoon bed encourages lymphatic flow and deep relaxation. This powerfully purifying treatment is completed with cellulite and circulatory massage.
