Balinese massage

This traditional treatment blends Hindu, Asian and European massage techniques for a rhythmic and invigorating experience. Your therapist will employ thumb walking, skin rolling, tepotment and long kneading strokes to promote healing and balance. Choose your own oils to further personalise this experience.

Herbal poultice

This traditional hot treatment from Thailand balances your mind and opens your pores to allow medicinal heat to relieve sore muscles and release tension. A heated herbal poultice containing special herbs and plant extracts is used to knead and compress muscles along the meridian pathways. An invigorating massage follows using an array of traditional aromatherapy techniques, leaving you feeling relaxed and revitalised.

Reflexology

In this traditional Asian practice, direct pressure is applied to acupressure points on the feet, which correspond to specific regions of the body and the vital organs. This treatment promotes well-being and increases the flow of energy along the body's meridian pathways. It is wonderful on its own or as a supplement to any massage or facial.

Energy therapies

Cranio-sacral

This alternative, holistic therapy enhances the cranial system located in the membranes and nerve endings of the scalp. Gentle manipulations of the scalp decrease stress and target ongoing neck and back pain.

Reiki

This Japanese energy treatment is also known as a “laying on of hands.” The therapist uses little or no pressure to bring into balance your seven chakras. This ancient art of body work promotes restful sleep, alleviates stress and heals your mind and body.

Raindrop

This treatment focuses on the alignment of the spine and is designed to release blockages and align the energy throughout the body. The service begins with a comforting foot massage. Drops of essential oils fall like rain onto the spine and are then massaged in using a gentle feathering technique to stimulate the central nervous system. Your therapist finishes with a full-body massage that leaves you detoxified and balanced.
