Golf

Santiburi Samui Country Club

Stretching along the hills of Koh Samui’s northern coastline, 6,881-yard Santiburi Samui golf course, designed by Pirapon Namatra and Edward Thiele, harmonises exquisitely with the island’s natural environment. The par-72 course is lined with exotic palm trees, numerous creeks and natural waterfalls, creating an enchanting and tranquil haven. Spectacular elevation changes, ranging from 30 to 190 metres (98 to 623 feet) above sea level, afford breathtaking, panoramic views of the turquoise ocean below.

Spa treatments on the beach

The Spa offers a selection of relaxing treatments for guests to enjoy on the beach. Pamper yourself with a neck and shoulder massage in the shade at the Beach Bar, or a manicure while sipping one of Pla Pla’s refreshing drinks. To reserve an appointment, enquire at the Beach Bar or the Spa.

Library

Centrally located within the Resort, the Library offers a wide selection of books and DVDs for guests to enjoy in the Library or on the adjacent balcony, which is furnished with lounge chairs and offers a view of the sea. Guests can also borrow the books and DVDs to use in the privacy of their villas. Colour printers, scanners and two workstations with personal computers are also available.

Tropical drink and cocktail class at the Beach Bar

Challenge yourself – become a Samui "mixologist" and enjoy the fruits of your labour under the beachfront coconut palms. Classes are offered weekly; fee applies.

Fruit and vegetable carving in Lan Tania

Thais believe that food should please the eye as well as the palate. Learn the delightful art of food carving in a complimentary class given by a Resort chef.

Resort garden and landscaping tour

Our chief gardener will guide you through the Resort grounds, which include 17 hectares (42 acres) of lush landscaping designed by famed landscape architect Bill Bensley. The Resort is home to 856 coconut palms, two million re-planted trees and shrubs and 150 varieties of flowers, all on a former orchard of durian, jackfruit and mango trees.

Wine tasting at The Cellar

Share our knowledge of wines from around the world and familiarise yourself with our 191 wine labels. Tastings include different grape varieties, Thai wine and New World and Old World wines. Fee applies.

Beach sports

Choose to participate with your fellow guests or with the Resort's recreation team – myriad beach sports are available for teens and adults.

  • Coconut pétanque on the beach – The goal of pétanque, a variation of boule, is to throw metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball, except here at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, we use coconuts! This activity is complimentary.
  • Muay Thai boxercise on the beach – Train with a Muay Thai veteran and world champion for a 90-minute workout that will leave you feeling invigorated and refreshed. Classes are complimentary.
  • Takraw – A kind of kick volleyball native to Southeast Asia, takraw is played with a rattan ball.
