Executive putting courseOur executive putting course offers a unique challenge with an innovative 18-hole, par-51 design. Putters, golf balls and scorecards are provided. HikingFascinating hiking routes are available. Enjoy the solitude of Lana'i as you begin your hike through the forested hills and valleys of the Koele highlands. Rare Hawaiian trees, once purposefully planted in the cool valleys, are today vital to the collection of water on Lana'i. The forest eventually gives way to open vistas and steep ravines, exposing the ridge of Koloiki with its spectacular views of neighbouring islands. Walk to the end of Hulopo'e Bay Beach, where you can enjoy the tide pools filled with such marine life as sea cucumbers, spaghetti worms and sea stars. For a view of Sweetheart Rock, take a stroll along the cliff-side path. Horseback ridingDiscover the timeless landscapes of Lana'i on horseback. Explore wooded upland trails and hidden valleys – home to axis deer and other wildlife – and come upon magnificent vistas of neighbouring islands. The Stables at Koele offer modern facilities, and expert staff are on hand to guide and recommend trail rides to suit your riding experience. Riding lessons are also available; fees apply. Lana'i Pine Sporting Clays and Archery RangeOur highlands centre features a 14-station sporting clay course, skeet field, wobble traps, compact sporting range, 12-station archery range and six-station air rifle range. One of the most challenging sporting clay sites in the world, the facility features a dramatic landscape of deep gulches and ravines, vast expanses of pampas grass and groves of Australian pine and lantana brush.
