Traditional oil treatment
Balinese women keep their locks lustrous with fresh coconut oil infused with pandanus leaves, fenugreek seeds, sandalwood and cinnamon. Here, we saturate the hair and then massage the head to stimulate blood circulation around the brain.

Mint hair mud mask
Essential oils of peppermint, tangerine, rosemary and lavender combine in a deep-conditioning, clay-based mask massaged into the hair and scalp, this, offered in combination with a relaxing neck and shoulder massage. The hair is washed with a tangerine-mint botanical shampoo and conditioner to complete a gentle session of pampering.

Crème conditioning
A royal tradition borrowed from Java, this hair and scalp treat is a favourite of the Balinese. Recline for a shampoo, then choose organic nourishment for your deep-conditioning scalp massage – ginseng, avocado or aloe vera moisturising hair crème. Warm steam is applied to maximise the effects of the treatment while the therapist performs a neck and shoulder massage.
