Orient

Based on Asian theories of energy meridians, this pressure-point massage is effective in relieving tension, headaches and backaches. It is a rhythmic massage using heel and thumb pressure and light stretches. No oil is used in this firm-pressure massage.

This targeted treatment combines Indian head, neck and shoulder massage with reflexology for hands and feet to erase the stresses of our technology-addicted, fast-paced lives. Imagine the feeling of two highly skilled therapists working all the tension out of your body in a perfectly synchronised massage. A combination of several massage techniques is used during this massage. It is an ideal treatment to help alleviate stress.

Rock and roll

The balancing combination of hot and cold stones makes this treatment a unique twist on the standard stone massage. Two therapists work together seamlessly. As one glides warm, hand-carved Australian lithos marbles – weighted for each specific area – along the body, the second therapist prepares cool stones to calm the now-soothed body by reducing blood flow.

The deep knead

Alternative therapies

Craniosacral therapy

More specifically therapeutic than reiki, this light touch from highly trained hands encourages the body’s own natural healing by working with the craniosacral channels along the sacrum that are intrinsic to the body’s nervous system. Taking cues from the body itself, our practitioner supports the body to release obstructions, physical or emotional, that inhibit healthy tendencies. Many experience meaningful emotional release and dreamlike relaxation from even one session, while repeat sessions can lead to improved management of stress and physical pain, and overall well-being.

Reiki

“Reiki” is made of two Japanese words that translate as “spiritually guided life force energy.” It is recommended that beginners precede the treatment with a Balinese massage to relax the body, which opens the mind to receive the subtle energy channelling that taps into each person’s innate radiance to nurture emotional imbalances and bring about increased happiness.

Elemental healing

Grown deep within the earth, crystals are imbued with natural energies that many cultures believe have living, healing properties. This deeply spiritual healing introduces crystals specifically selected for each guest. One crystal will be held and connected to throughout the experience while the other cosmically infused stones will be placed along the body’s seven chakras during a gentle warm oil massage that prepares the body for the aura healing of a reiki massage.
