This relaxing massage, handed down through generations, uses skin rolling, long kneading strokes, acupressure and foot massage techniques to renew, strengthen and heal the body. Balinese santi oil – coconut oil blended with essential oils of basil, vetiver and patchouli – is used in this traditional treatment.

Aroma

An aromatic massage to heighten the senses. Choose one of two essential oil blends from our exclusively formulated spa collection: Peace of Bali, with sandalwood, ylang-ylang and spice oils, or Bali Sunset, with lavender, lemongrass and nutmeg. A choice of massage styles is also available.

Restorative – Light, rhythmic strokes with movements toward the lymphatic areas produce gentle relaxation.

Energising – Deep strokes and cross-fibre massage techniques stimulate overall blood circulation, relieving stress, muscle tension and aches in problem areas.

Orient

Based upon Asian theories of energy, this pressure point massage is effective in relieving tension, headaches and backaches. Areas focused on are hands, feet, ears, face, neck, back and shoulders. No oil is used in this firm-pressure massage.

Sole and palm

This specialised foot and hand massage improves blood and nerve supply, fostering a restoration of the body's natural state of equilibrium and helping to relieve stress and tension. This technique is based on the premise that the body contains constantly flowing chi (energy) that gathers at reflex points on the feet and hands.

Marble

This treatment uses heated and refreshingly chilled handcrafted marble rocks as therapeutic instruments. Alternative therapies

Water massage
