Created to help the royal bride prepare for her wedding day, lulur means “scrub,” which is exactly what we do.
The Four Seasons Jakarta lulur treatment begins with a relaxing Javanese massage. Practised for generations, we’ll roll, knead and stroke your skin to strengthen and heal the body. Next, we transition to exfoliation and body polishing using a locally made lulur paste. Rich and spicy, with cinnamon, black pepper, cloves and rice flour, the paste scrubs away impurities while awakening the senses.
A special wrap of lemon juice and honey from the blossoms of a rambutan tree brightens and softens your skin before a relaxing rose petal bath. And then we top it off with a grapefruit and hibiscus body lotion that leaves you perfectly relaxed and ready for the day’s events—whether it’s your royal wedding or just a day by the pool.
