Hugging the slopes of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole is located just steps from the Bridger Gondola, Eagle’s Rest and Teewinot chairlifts and overlooks over 5,000 acres (2,024 hectares) of awe-inspiring skiable terrain.

Inside our Resort, Base Camp offers the comprehensive service and expertise of our Ski Concierge. A complete ski rental and repair shop, Base Camp also provides lift tickets, ski school and guide resources, expert equipment tuning and storage, and ski valet services.

Lessons

  • Skiing – Take your skills to the next level while exploring the mountain – daily lessons are available, from beginner to expert. Whether you prefer alpine, cross-country or telemark, our in-house Ski Concierge will be happy to book you into an appropriate class to ensure you have fun on the slopes.
  • Snowboarding – A diverse team of professional instructors offers programmes to suit personal needs. Whether you are a first-timer looking to get on board, or an advanced rider looking for personal coaching, we will be happy to connect you with the class that is right for you.
  • Private instruction – Whether you are a beginner or an expert, private ski and snowboard lessons allow you to learn at your own pace and achieve personal goals. Our Ski Concierge can recommend and arrange full-day or half-day private instruction with one of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's professional guides.

Mountain Club

Limited to just 30 members, the Mountain Club offers its members exclusive services and amenities. From access to a private lounge conveniently located next to Base Camp to private Ski Concierge services, the Mountain Club will take your ski experience to new heights. Race programmes
The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Race Department promotes both recreational and competitive racing for all levels. Each season there are dozens of special club races, local and national competitions, and NASTAR.

Rentals
2008 rental equipment from Stockli, Atomic, Salomon, Knisel and Dalbello is available in Base Camp, our in-house full-service ski rental shop. The Ski Concierge will be happy to arrange all aspects of equipment rental, tunings, valet and storage. We can also arrange in-room boot fittings.

Cross-country and skate skiing
For a more aerobic winter workout, try cross-country or skate skiing. The Saddlehorn Activity Center offers 10.5 miles (17 kilometres) of groomed track on snow-covered sagebrush ranch land, for easy skiing; hill trails are optional. Ski solo or with a qualified instructor as you enjoy the serene, majestic views of the Teton Range.

Heli-skiing
The ultimate skiing adventure. High Mountain Heli-Skiing transports you to any of five surrounding mountain ranges for a day of unforgettable skiing or snowboarding on fresh, untracked snow. Skiers can expect a full day of skiing at 12,000 to 15,000 vertical feet (3,658 to 4,572 metres).

Backcountry guides
For advanced skiers and riders looking to experience the best snow conditions in Jackson Hole, we will help you reserve an alpine guide to explore the magnificent Teton backcountry. This personalised service is offered by knowledgeable guides who will teach you the basics of backcountry route selection, use of safety equipment and high alpine winter travel.

Tours

  • Dog sled – Dog sled tours offer an unforgettable outdoor adventure in pristine scenery. Learn how to drive your own team and get a sense for this unique winter pastime. Choose a half- or full-day tour to explore the snow-covered terrain along the Continental Divide; or take a full-day tour, including a tasty cookout lunch, to Granite Hot Springs.   • Guided snowshoe – Tours are offered with a Forest Service Naturalist. We would also be happy to arrange a private tour for groups of up to five. Fee applicable.
  • Nature ski – Half-day and full-day tours through Grand Teton National Park will give you a real taste of the beauty of Jackson Hole. Included are a biologist guide, snacks or lunch, warm beverages and transportation. Hole Hiking provides complimentary snowshoe equipment; cross-country skis are available for rent.
  • Snowmobile and snow coach – Guided snowmobile tours are an ideal way to explore winter landscapes and view wildlife in Yellowstone, the Gros Ventre Range or along the route to the warm waters at Granite Hot Springs. Choose from a range of half-day excursions to three-day adventures; most options include a snack or meals. Our Concierge looks forward to assisting you in selecting the ideal snowmobile trip. Snow coach tours are great for families with younger children. These guided tours take you through Yellowstone in the comfort of a heated snow coach; on a full-day excursion, lunch is provided at the Snow Lodge. Sleigh ride
Horse-drawn sleigh rides in the National Elk Refuge, from mid-December to early April, offer a distinct Jackson experience. Sleigh rides permit close observation of bulls, cows and calves as they feed, rest and roam the refuge. Additionally, guests can enjoy a sleigh ride to Solitude Cabin for dinner in a cozy mountain setting, with live guitar music. One or two dinner seatings are available per evening.

Tubing
Not far from Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole, Snow King Resort's Tubing Park offers a fun alternative to skiing. Guests can enjoy the spectacular scenery while riding the tow lift to the top of the hill, then take hold of the inner tube for an exhilarating ride down the park's groomed trails.
