A CHICAGO CHEF'S WELCOME, MILAN MASTERS IN PALM BEACH
The next time you dine at Seasons restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, plan on eating with the chef. It's easy to do just that, thanks to the new Chef's Table in the heart of the bustling kitchen of Executive Chef Robert Sulatycky.
When you book the exclusive Chef's Table for six guests, you'll enjoy an eight-course gastronomic event and experience a master and his staff in action. "It's a unique opportunity for me to share my passion for food and wine up close and personal with our guests," Sulatycky says.
You can choose your favorite courses at Seasons or pick from Chef Sulatycky's signature dishes, such as reggiano gnocchi with shaved truffles and 100-year-old balsamic vinegar, Texas venison loin with sweet potato risotto or roasted langoustines with tarragon, accompanied by sweetbreads and matsutake mushrooms.
Reservations for six people are required and prices begin at $130 per person, excluding tax, wine and gratuity. Dinner with paired wines is $195 per person and with paired premium wines, $250 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. For information and reservations, please call 312-649-2349.
Down in Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, the hotel's much-lauded Visiting Chefs Program continues this month. From April 19 to 27, the Resort will feature Executive Chef Sergio Mei and Pastry Chef Oliver Malnati from Four Seasons Hotel Milano.
Chef Mei's "Tasting Menu" will be showcased in The Restaurant and priced at $75 per person, while his specials will be featured on lunch and dinner menus in The Ocean Bistro and on the lunch menu in Atlantic Bar & Grill. A "Flavors of Milan" dinner highlighting Chef Mei's cuisine is scheduled for April 22. The $145 per-person meal is a five-course dinner featuring the Wines of Antinori.
And on April 26, don't miss the "Lobsters and Risottos" culinary program and demonstration featuring Chefs Mei and Malnati and Executive Chef Hubert Des Marais of Four Season Resort Palm Beach. This 10 a.m. cooking demonstration is $60 per person and includes lunch with wine.
